here's how the fight goes down:
it is a stormy night.
the pirates are drunk. singing, banging on things, pouring whiskey on their grimy stomachs. the ninjas sneak up silently, undetected. cari is in bellingham, skateboarding.
stormy night scenario 1: yar!! it only takes one drunken pirate to notice the imminent attack and warn the others. they snatch up their guns and the ninjas are dead before they reach striking distance. cari survives.
stormy night scenario 2: no drunken pirates notice. the ninjas act swiftly, and their excellent skills and awareness quickly wipe out the rowdy pirates. cari survives.
stormy night scenario 3: a bolt of lightening strikes without warning, stretching its long lethal arm towards cari, who is desperately trying to olly. cari does not survive.
stormy night scenario 4: the storm destroys both ships and everyone aboard drowns. then it rages inland and wipes out bellingham, the san juans, and the greater part of california. oregon survives.
